Work Description: Trim Ring and Back panel are the plastic component which covers the Seat Back structure and Side shield which covers the recliner area of the seat structure. The WK PGM Chrysler seat has a DVD model mechanism; to incorporate this plastic component has been developed. Styling data received from the customer as input.

The main challenge to develop these models to accommodate all the B side attachment to assemble with the seat structure. The WK variant has power seats and motions and the challenge to develop these plastic components were exciting. Few cost reduction concepts designed and was appreciated by customer on these components. Also the transition of surface at different angles needed for zero deficiency was the next tougher side to achieve.

Development of Trim ring part based on styling surface and Seat structural parts.

Parametric Surface modeling as per OEM standards.
