Founded a business providing strategic consulting services to upstream companies, specializing in business plans, capital strategies, valuations, investments, financings, acquisitions & divestments, process improvement, and commercial real estate.

Advised clients on more than $100MM in successful acquisitions and divestitures, including a $52MM asset package from a large independent before public marketing of the proposal.

Generated partnerships for two clients with conventional and unconventional exploration programs by leveraging established business relationships and industry expertise.

Advised an emerging oilfield services company, directing strategy, capital, investments, and margin optimization.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PERMIAN BASIN MANAGER 2011 to 2014

Iberia Bank Energy Group, Houston TX & Midland, TX

Directed and developed a 7-person deal/relationship team while building new relationships with energy companies and driving sales for capital market products.

Led a joint calling strategy with investment bank, driving sales of capital markets products and doubling coverage to over 100 companies.

HVL Energy, LLC, Midland TX

Launched a private equity sponsored upstream company operating in the Permian Basin, implementing a strategy to acquire and re-develop mature assets with a semi-proprietary completion technique capable of increasing production while maintaining decline rates, and boosting ultimate recovery and cash flow.

Closed private equity capital raise at the peak of the financial crisis in October 2008.

Directed origination, due diligence, negotiation and closing of all transactions, completing 18 acquisitions and executing a redevelopment plan averaging a 5x+ increase in daily production.

Directed monetization of the company, negotiating sale with a large independent closing on schedule.

Wells Fargo Bank NA Energy Group
