My name is Reneelyn Corley. I am a critical care, trauma nurse with my my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in business with online courses. I am also a PHRN, having served with a volunteer fire department for 23 years. I have been in EMS 29 years. I am a member of several volunteer organizations. I also teach ACLS, PALS, CPR, First Aid and AED for CCAC south. In my career I have held positions as first female president for a fire department in the state of PA. Board of directors, captain, first and second lieutenant . Manager and supervisor for and ambulance service. Chief dispatcher prior to 911. I have worked for Jefferson hospital my entire nursing career. I have chaired several committees. I was charge nurse of the ICU, clinical supervisor of the cardiac cath lab. Safety and huddle champion. I was a 2015 Jefferson Award recipient and nominated for cameo of caring and critical care nurse of the year. I serve on my council and was elected to zoning and planning, code enforcement and grant writer certified through Penn State for the Dirt and Gravel Road Project. I am also first vice president of the Lions club. I own and operate a landscaping company, i breed Rottweilers and opened a non profit rescue. I have written two self help pamphlets and give medical lectures.

EXPERIENCE

PACU RN, JEFFERSON HOSPITAL, JEFFERSON, PA 3/01 PRESENT

I am in charge of the recovery phase of patient care. I assist in teaching and am a resource for the cath lab patient care aspect. While clinical supervisor I was responsible for meeting budget demands, ordering and restocking supplies, scheduling, billing. Running day to day operations. Wrote policy and procedures. I did all of the staff competencies and training. I worked with reps and other departments and was able to turn around a 150k deficit and just taking over the general stock we were able to save over $86K last year. While at Jefferson I was also a charge nurse in ICU for 8 years.

Instructor, CCAC South, Jefferson Hills, Pa 09/09 - present

I am an instructor for CCAC South. I teach ACLS and PALS at Jefferson, AGH and Monroeville Safety Center. I teach CPR, First Aid and AED at Jefferson and on my own for the public and businesses.

Council woman, Stockdale, Pa 01/14 - present.

I am a council woman and currently serve on the zoning and planning, police, and mid mon valley municipality co-op board.

Fire Fighter/ PHRN Stockade VFD 1992 - present.

I have held such positions as first and second lieutenant, captain, Fire board, board of directors, secretary, co-founder of the junior fire fighter program, relief association. I was the first female to be president of a volunteer fire department in PA.. House, Lot, and banquet committee. I was a flight nurse with Stat Medevac. I belong to the Haz Mat team for Washington County. I am on the Emergency Management team for the Stockade Borough as the Health and Safety officer liaison. I am a member of the counties Animal Response Team. I am an officer for Washington and Allegheny County for the National Emergency Response team. I am a member of the Strike team for brush fires. I have served as a counselor for the stress debriefing team. In my 4 years as president, we absorbed another fire department and joined the Charleroi Fire District.

Volunteer groups

I am vice president of the Roscoe Lions club. I am a member of the AHA, the Roscoe Legion Ladies Auxillary, Habitat for Humanity of greater Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Cares- where I have worked as a sight supervisor. I was part of adopt a school program with Penn State and Jefferson Hospital giving free physicals to kids pre k - 6. Red Cross. Certified through Penn State as the grant writer for the Dirt and Gravel Road Project for the Mon Valley. I have been a member of the community block watch, and donate produce to the food pantries in the Mon Valley. River revitalization project. I am an active member of the Red Knights, volunteer fire fighter motorcycle club.
