Responsibilities:

•Competent and committed to apply optimum fluid properties to ensure best deep gas drilling practice under high temperature up to 300 f & pressure over balance up to 4800 psi, moreover while rotary steering drill for conventional and unconventional wells at inclination up to 90 deg, extended reach to 17800’ft TVD.

•Daily monitor technical requirements and be sure it is concur to operational focal point for deep gas drilling operations.

•Inventory assessment in order to track materials consumption for reporting and billing purposes to ensure there was adequate inventory for use in daily operations.

•Providing and sharing a technical data & experiences internally and externally with other service operators and clients.

•Presenting a training course internally developed for entry level drilling fluid engineers; recently I have been elected to present training course to our client-ARAMCO.

•Liaising with all relevant drilling rig crew and for administrative support service contractors, also drilling fluid technical support service if there are fluids issues.

•Aware to IADC WELLCAP standards as well as specific local requirements.

Responsibilities:

•Participate in products selection of chemicals applicable with fluid formulations accordance with well plan or as drilling engineer advice.

•Testing drilling fluid for compliance with drilling fluid specifications that are set by advisors, therefore adapt drilling fluid to operation strategies dedicated to achieve drilling targets.

•Responding on operational and technical queries from customers such as: - standard fluid specifications, hydraulics calculations, daily material consumption as well daily inventory reports.

•Possess decision making capacity as well handling fluid in various drilling operations such as milling, wellbore logging, formation coring sample and rotary steering activities.

•Utilize Logistical Planning skills to ensure the well be supplied by material and services in timely manner based on anticipated conditions and maintain accurate inventory records.

•Supervised the hazardous material handling and storage according client environmental regulations.

•Observe and provide drilling crew with applicable materials safety data sheet and chemical hazards book to implement the best handling practice to maximize personal safety.
