Description: Online Apple Store’s backend operates on a various technology with the number of Oracle databases. In a fiscal year, there are several software releases to the Online Apple Store. There are 5 different QA environments & 5 different Dev environments that help them to plan various releases. The numerous development and QA databases have to be monitored for tuning, replication issues, locks, PCI compliance, and SQL deployment and maintain jobs.

Responsibilities:

Worked as a Database administrator for Oracle, Mongo and Cassandra DBs.

Global Payroll Management (GPM) was developed in order to make the day-to-day payroll management efficient, transparent and easier. It also included custom report generation and email notification to business groups.

In Eastwood, implemented the new batch process system to integrate the Apple Netherlands Retail Payroll to ADP (Automated Data Processing, Inc.) and this module involves generation and transfer of payroll data from Merlin to ADP system.

Total Compensation Planning (TCP) is a tool, which is integrated with Merlin Manager Application and Managers at Apple use it for performing yearly compensation planning activities such as Bonus, Stock etc. for the employees in his/her organization. HR Administrators/Managers at Apple also use this TCP tool for validating data entered into the system and performing administrative activities for the organization he/she is responsible for.

As the PUB/SUB component cannot be modified, the solution captures PUB/SUB related data into flat files and applied in the database through Autosys Job.

Description: Atlas is the central static data repository for Cerberus.
