Nestle implements simple finance as add on function in SAP to replace an existing classical accounting system to new GL and new asset accounting and CO-PA building and integrates with FI Module.
I understand the functionality to set-up add on new tasks in the Asset Accounting and the integrated tasks and the corresponding FI set up and provide the solutions to the business users and the end users who involve the support of the issues.
Responsibilities:
To understand the as-is process set up and map/develop those processes to-be process and inform Regional Business Source Team of the Nestle Project to work with those changes and discuss design business requirement to implement the simple finance in the existing set up.
I also involved the configure the required functions in the FI side and discuss any immediate conversions of the data and provide test plans in the FI area users to execute/plan the cutover task
With SAP Enhancement Package 7 (EHP 7 & 8), a new functionality is available in Asset Accounting to manage Parallel Valuations.
SAP S/4HANA,on-premise edition 1511 FPS02 streamlined in Core Finance accounting and closing operations and accounting in the sense GL AP AR Inventory accounting AA, Revenue and Costing accounting during the simple finance implementation.
In house Cash (IHS) support and migration activity along with Lock Box S/fin simple finance with Treasury Accounting.
Prior to implement Simple Finance we migrate classical GL to New GL activation in the system and then we activated New Asset Accounting and COPA functionality as required
We used to adopt in Nestle project the New GL concept and as well new asset accounting process while implementing S/4 Hana 2.0 simple finance module.
With the new solution, it is now possible to post actual values to different depreciation areas in real time. There’s no need for delta postings and delta depreciation areas in simple finance module.
The implementation of New AA, take a stock of Global Settings related to General Ledger, particularly Ledgers and Currencies. This will help you ascertain the Chart of Depreciation settings required in Asset Accounting in simple finance implementation.
To enable parallel postings to different ledgers system uses a technical clearing account for Asset acquisition and Investment support postings. This is required from a technical purpose and the balance of this account is always zero after each posting in simple finance set up.
