As a graduate of Norfolk State University my career began as the Educational Director of the Chesapeake City Jail where I developed a program for the inmates to get their GED and taught the classes. I became a flight attendance for Braniff Airlines, boarding, airplane safety, and customer service. In 1984 began to work for Dallas Independent School district, educating and molding students to become responsible citizens mentally, emotional and educationally strong. Also work as teacher /counselor in the Redirection Drug Prevention for the district. As a license chemical Dependency counselor by the State of Texas in the field of substance abuse my focus was on directing adults and adolescences how to live with disease of addiction at Parkland Hospital for 17 years and treatments facilities in the Dallas area.
