Front End Web Developer

Laso Concepts, Culver City, CA 08/2017 - Present

Laso Concepts is a platform for connecting healthcare institutions, patients, and support teams. The MVP is built as a mobile responsive single page application (SPA). Features multi-tenancy; thorough user onboarding; multiple profile support; hierarchical group messaging with keyword search, tagging and mentions; direct messaging; on-site and email notifications; blogging and content management system; and content moderation.

●Rapidly prototyped a variety of full-stack features, using AngularJS components and UI Router, RESTful APIs, express and MongoDB.

●Used MongoDB aggregation pipelines to join denormalized data from multiple collections to reduce server round trips.

●Adhered to team and industry standards with respect to API design, ES6 coding style, CSS selector conventions, Promise handling, and security.

●Participated in daily standups, weekly client demonstrations and feedback meetings, strict peer code review process, technical presentations to development team, and technical and product ideation.

●Built secure account management, invitation, and authorization features utilizing password-hashing and tamperproof HMAC URLs.

●Built an administrative data management interface for manually adjusting or removing user accounts and user-generated content.

●Implemented a stateful AngularJS file upload component to standardize UI and refactor common API interaction.

●Implemented a stateful AngularJS address form component that exposes a simple controller API via a two-way "name" binding, to standardize UI and refactor common API interactions.

●Developed paginated channel message retrieval system to support infinite scroll front end. Channel accessibility is determined hierarchically by the healthcare institution tenants and subordinate locations at which you are receiving treatment.

●Developed direct messaging system to allow messaging capabilities only between users receiving treatment at healthcare locations within the same institution tenant.

●Implemented multi-profile system incorporating invitations, guided onboarding, and on-the-fly profile switching, to allow a single person to perform multiple roles.

●Utilized MongoDB unique indexes to guard against duplicate user-generated content

●Combined MongoDB $group aggregations with Flot Charts to provide an effective visualization conveying the participation rate of each healthcare location over time.

AutoMobility LA Hackathon 11/27/2017

●Integrated multiple go511 API endpoints and SmartCar API

●Solution was built in JavaScript with AngularJS, ui-router and components

●Built payment form for hub package selections

●Used Trello to manage and assign tasks

●Leveraged git for source code management
