Delish - React, Redux, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL

A full-stack application inspired by New York Times Cooking – it allows users to browse, bookmark, and share recipes.

* Users are able to upload recipe images in the cloud using AWS S3, saving references as an attachment in a PostgreSQL database.

* Kept code DRY on the backend by using a polymorphic association on the Likes model.

* Achieved responsive design through SASS media queries and by defining specific breakpoints - optimizes user experience for narrow browsers and tablets.

FanDOM - JavaScript

A DOM manipulation library written entirely in JavaScript.

* Allows users to traverse the DOM by selecting and modifying node elements.

* Users are able to select DOM elements by class, id, or HTML type by using the $l selector – the result is an array of DOMNodeCollection objects that match the selector argument.

The Legend of Chibi - JavaScript, HTML

Canvas Interactive browser game created with Vanilla JavaScript and HTML Canvas

* Utilizes HTML Canvas for pixel control, custom animations, and smooth game play.

* Leverages object-oriented design, using class inheritance for dry code.

* Limits draw speed and leverages multiple canvas elements for seamless rendering and player interaction.
