•As Category Logistics Manager I was the primary interface between the Operations Business Team, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, and Headquarters/Corporate groups for Supply Chain related activities.
•Managed the Supply Planning and Logistics activities for the Powdered Beverages and Yogurt businesses which were among Kraft’s most profitable and largest volume products.
•Principle responsibilities included developing production planning and inventory deployment strategies that met or exceeded customer service level objectives, minimized inventory investment in the most cost efficient manner, optimized budgets, capacity analysis, and plant asset management.
•Position required frequent communication with Marketing, Sales Planning, Demand Planning, Operations, and Plant Logistics to anticipate any service issues and lead to the resolution of these issues.
•Executed two successful powdered Beverage seasons at Kraft and achieved both record sales levels and record customer service levels of over 98% in the process.
