Summary of Qualifications

Greg has over 25 years of IT experience and 6 years of corporate accounting experience including several years as a Financial Controller for a large software corporation.

Over the past 25 plus years Greg has progressively moved upward in his IT and business related roles. This includes representing the financial user community for an ERP implementation in 1991 and having the role of being the Service Delivery Manager for the largest lens manufacturer in the world. This position acts as the Oracle ‘CIO’ for running the customer’s infrastructure in a hosted environment as well as managing the teams that support Oracle’s ERP and OBIEE applications.

Through the years Greg has also done hands on delivery work for ERP, Supply Chain and CRM applications, worked in the Oracle Product Development group, been the Project Manager for many large scale implementations and worked in the Program Management office for one of the three largest U.S. Marine Corp programs at the time.

Greg’s consulting and non-consulting experiences have provided him the opportunity to experience a large range of industries, cultures and organizations. His customers have included a large number of commercial and government entities. He has managed functional, development and DBA teams.

Greg is a results-oriented, high-energy, hands-on professional, with a successful record of accomplishments.

Professional Accomplishments

Greg served as the Service Delivery Director (SDM) for the largest lens manufacturer in the world for 6 years. The company was one of Oracle’s top 3 strategic customers for Oracle’s hosted services clients.

During that time Greg was able to facilitate a new solution, work with sales and legal on drafting a new contract and extend the contract for an additional 6 years.

As the SDM he functioned as the Oracle ‘CIO” for Essilor. His responsibilities included coordinating sales, legal, Essilor’s hosted infrastructure at the Oracle data center, and enterprise application support. He was also responsible for communicating both Essilor and Oracle’s future business and IT strategy. He worked daily with Essilor’s IT VP, directors, and managers. Greg also had regularly scheduled meetings with Essilor’s CIO and Oracle’s senior VP’s. Greg oversaw the work of the following Oracle resources assigned to Essilor: Production Manager, Customer Incident Manager, Sr. Solution Manager, Project Managers, and a 3rd party integrator that works through Oracle. In addition to working with internally with the storage, server and networking teams at Oracle to design a solution that could support the client.

Program Management Office for the U.S. Marine Corp Global Command Supply Chain initiative. Greg’s team reviewed the delivery work of a 3rd party integrator. Greg was instrumental in communicating the project delivery methodology to the U.S. Marine Corp and getting the program back on track.

Greg drafted the functional design documents for extensions that integrated with Oracle 11i CRM and ERP applications. These extensions also integrated with First American’s real estate financial product systems.

Greg supported the Financials implementation for the U.S. Air Force.

Greg was the Project Manager for a large global telecommunications manufacturer, UTStarcom. He was managing the CRM, ERP, and MRP aspects of this large global implementation.

Greg supported the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) Oracle Call to Resolution (Case Management) implementation. This support included many custom extensions of the Oracle applications. Greg had also made great contributions in the partner’s ability to manage the build and release change management process.

Greg was the Oracle Project Manager and functional Architect for Intuit. As the functional architect he ensured all the Customer’s business flows within Oracle functioned along numerous integration points with the customer’s many legacy systems.

Greg has also been the Project Manager for a leading Data Storage Manufacturer. This project involved implementing Oracle Service, Contracts, Depot Repair, Spares Management, Configurator, Telesales and Incentive Compensation in an integrated Oracle ERP environment. The project involved the client’s North American and European operations. Greg was the first to successfully deliver these new applications.

He has also been the Project Manager and Integration Manager for one of the largest U.S. brick and mortar retailer’s e-Commerce implementation, and the Project Manager for an OSO implementation for one of the largest financial services corporations in the world.

Greg has a number of years of experience as a Financial Controller where he worked closely with the Executive Sales, Contracts/Legal, Customer Delivery, and Customer Support teams.
