Served as the Senior Operating Manager with full P&L responsibility for the strategic planning, development, and operations management for this dynamic contract manufacturing service provider who also offered engineering services for products ranging from simple consumer devices to complex high-end commercial and industrial electro-mechanical products.
Scope of responsibility included cost-effective production of over 4K products, staff scheduling to support all activities, quality assurance, human resources, market/business development, distribution, safety, resource utilization, materials management, engineering, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Directly supervised, evaluated, and oversaw the work efforts of over 4K employees including cohesive teams and yield of all production.
Established all work level needs for eight widely-dispersed plants.
Analyzed the daily financial performance of the business operation to optimize working capital; track and analyze all costs for the eight plants, create and implement internal control systems, and apply principles to streamline business processes.
Directed the budget administration and funding activities for an operating and capital budget in excess of $55M including the acceptance, disbursement, and accounting of monies for labor, inventory, supplies, resources, raw materials, equipment, and capital project requests.
