Modeling and preparing the detailed manufacturing drawings for an assembly named Electrical Cabinet Assembly in Creo 2.0.(ZUTI capstone project)

Was responsible for modeling and preparing the detailed manufacturing drawings for the design changes done by the in-house design team for one of its client projects. Modeled solid and sheet metal components and assembled them for the final assembly. Prepared manufacturing drawings of sheet metal and plastic components for different processes like lancing, plastic injection molding and sheet metal bending operations and applied the GD&T symbols required for location. Preparing the detailed manufacturing and inspection drawings for a casting component named Water Swivel in Creo 2.0.(ZUTI capstone project)

Was responsible for preparing the detailed manufacturing and inspection drawing for a casting component designed by the in-house design team. Prepared the detailed manufacturing drawing showing the parting line and cope and drag sides and prepared the inspection drawings using the GD&T symbols for maintaining form and orientation to control the number of defectives. Investigation to Reduce Traffic Accidents in India due to Parking at Intersections of One and Two Lane Roads

(ME-Project)

Derived an equation for an optimum and safe parking distance, from the intersection to entering and exiting corners based on certain assumptions and using Ackermann’s steering principle. The assumptions were based upon the real time accident data collected from the Traffic Investigation Wing, East and West of the Coimbatore City Traffic Police Department and real time data collected for the vehicle (car) dimensions and also the parking space dimensions.

Design and Fabrication of a Prototype of an Automatic Pill Dispenser (BE- Final Project)

Designed and fabricated a prototype of an automatic pill dispenser, using rapid prototyping (3D-printing) and softwares such as SOLID WORKS and PRO E. Installed a servo motor as the prime mover for the dispenser and various other devices like infra-red sensor, GSM module and an Audrino microprocessor to improve reliability and precision of the pill dispenser.

Design and Fabrication of Flexible Fixture using Magneto-Rheological Fluids(BE- Mini Project)

Designed and fabricated a flexible fixture using magneto rheological fluids, consisting of carrier fluid (honge oil), grease and carbonyl ion particles. Using the three magneto rheological fluids components in different proportions and applying different intensities of magnetic field for various machining operations like drilling, milling, etc., I have observed the stability and holding capability of the flexible fixture and studied the forces acting on the fixture.
