3rd Shift
+245% Productivity
-Start of Project 245 orders processed - End of Project 560 to 620 orders processed
-Project improvements, which lead to uptick in productivity
-Machine Capabilities, PM's, Communication, Accurate Order Blocking
-Determination of machine capabilities, which could process different orders at more efficient speeds.
-Maintaining accurate pass downs for following shifts
-Maintaining accurate calibrations. Working alone on Sundays to to calibrate 3 Monospheras, 5 Biospheras, and 8 Statisloh Generators
-Periodic machine cleaning processes implemented during production
-Replacement of tools at 70% life, rather than waiting for 100% in order to meet our 2% scrap goal across all 3 shifts (Turned lenses, Burnt lenses, Scratched lenses, Broken tools) Monospheras, Biospheras, Easy Logo, Statisloh Generators
-Training new employees how to read power on lensmeter, lending a hand to blocking, directing employees to separate orders to be sent to different machines (efficiency), helping assembly to clean and assemble orders
-Accurate input of breakages in order to track down machine issues, in order to have tech support to make necessary repairs when needed

-Utilizing some of my formal UCI statistical education, implementing it in plant to make for a leaner environment. Time Management information is being pulled and used from Paychex. Time management information is placed into data sets and utilized to evaluate individual performance.
-Ways this project aids in lean manufacturing.
-Accurately shows when employees return and aids in consistent production schedules
-Makes for more accountability amongst plant team
-Data is utilized in renegotiation's with staffing agencies to reduce mark-up percentage. IE. from 45% down to as low as 30%

- Provide leadership and supervision during start-up, shutdown, and operation/ troubleshooting MYCOM, Linde, Allen Bradley systems
- Oversees production process to ensure quality and efficiency throughout Dairy Plant. PMO & CIP knowledgeable.
