Steam RM&D Performance Metrics is a web based application built on ASP.NET MVC 4 for Monitoring and Diagnostics of vast number of turbines all over the globe. The purpose of this program is to provide below features to the steam turbine unit GE Internal and External customers. Process operational data / fleet wide data to enable decisions for optimizing the value of machinery assets. Allow GE engineers to track the condition of the machinery and forecast maintenance requirements on a schedule consistent with operating requirements and business needs. Facilitate recommendations for optimization of machine availability and efficiency, and helps detect problems in an incipient stage Data received from the sensors placed at each turbine is loaded, validated and then corresponding plots are generated using TIBCO Spotfire. These plots/charts are very much useful for the engineers or the customers for tracking the health of the turbines; analyze the root cause for the turbine failures.
