Resume:

June **, ****

To Whom it May Concern:

Throughout my professional career in metals manufacturing, my many years of experience has been in the role of Plant Manager. While residing in Montreal, I worked for a lattice tower company and ensured that my team and I delivered quality products to our customers in a timely manner. I was recruited to join a start-up lattice tower facility in early 2012 to be based outside of Houston, Texas. I was excited at the challenge and the opportunity to be involved on the front end of creating such a business. It also allowed me to relocate to the United States.

In the role of Plant Manager, I have managed all of the planning, purchasing, programming, production, welding, and maintenance departments while collaborating with the engineering and quality teams to ensure our products were of top quality. Although my expertise is in the lattice tower sector, my skills are transferrable to other metals and/or manufacturing sectors. I am versed in all production machines such as saws, lathes, presses, and CNC machines, including those with tight tolerances and am knowledgeable in reading prints / schematics for customized parts or large mass quantity runs. I also have experience overseeing a galvanizing department.

The positions I have held have been fast-paced, challenging, and broad in scope. I have been instrumental in the improvement, streamlining, and cost reduction of production operations. I feel that my experience and insight can be utilized to the advantage of your company.

One of my strengths is partnering with customers to ensure we are delivering the right product in a quality fashion, on time. Strong communication is a must to ensure ongoing successful partnerships. Poor quality and service cannot be marketed in today’s business environment. Ultimately superior quality and service are a company’s most important strategic advantages.

With my experience of 25+ years of diverse experience involving manufacturing, planning, purchasing, maintenance, welding, quality compliance, safety compliance, and project management, I feel I can be an asset to your company.

My past success centers on the basics: uncompromising safety, quality, timeliness, service and productivity/cost. I will bring an energized, professional and participative approach to implementing results oriented manufacturing initiatives. My skills and ability to produce under pressure have served me well in the past. In a relatively short period of time, I will demonstrate the skills needed to lead a production group towards future growth and not just manage for today’s bottom line. If my experience is of interest to you, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Regards,

Felix Sciotto
