Technical Skills

Administering the chemical resime of the power plant assets including water system, water production / treatment plant, to achieve optimum conditions and free from corrosion.

Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures (SOP), material safety data, and chemical handling procedure, water chemistry procedures, and sampling & analysis procedures, environmental procedures, setting up a laboratory.

Assists in planning the annual consumption of chemicals and laboratory equipment & advice procurement in good time to ensure adequate stocks exist at all times.

Initiate the standard routine required to ensure all chemical parameters are maintained within specified limits.

Ensure that the power plant chemical regime is being operated in an efficient manner.

Guide operation staff on how to maintain proper chemical regime and to operate various plants as per the supplier’s guidelines for maintaining the dosing & chemical levels.

Maximize the operational reliability of all equipment while minimizing costs by advising operating staff how to effectively manage the chemical dosing / treatment without disruption to power & water supplies.

Independent judgment is taken based on the analysis results & comparing with the standard expected.

Ensure Environmental records are maintained up to data. Calibration of all laboratory analytical equipments.

Academic Qualifications:-

Master in Science (Chemistry) from MATS University Raipur C.G. in 2014.

Bachelor Degree in Science from Guru Ghasidas University Bilaspur (C.G.) in 2000 with Second division.

Master Program in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Engineering Nagpur (MH) in 2009 with A grade.
