PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:

Working in STT Tele Media (Formally Known as Tata Communications Ltd) Data Center as Associate Engineer since May 2016 for handling below Operations:

vWorking on Network Operation Support

ØMounting, Installation & Configuration of networking, server equipment’s in racks.

ØWorking on Remote Hands Service operation i.e. RHS like rebooting server, changes the server HDD, Checking power LED status on server or switch, doing Jack in Jack Out of cable or Fiber if required.

ØMonitoring the applications and services, which causes congestion on network bandwidth and server performance.

ØProactive monitoring of all networking components and customer servers and ensuring uninterrupted connectivity.

ØMonitoring MUX of various service providers in MMR room (meet me room) of Data center.

ØLaying the cable (BNC/Fiber/Copper) in between customer rack and patching to desired port on MUX or any networking device according to customer requirement, checking connectivity, providing hard loop test for link.

ØTaking console of networking equipment’s, changing the IP of Machine & doing internet reach ability test, taking remote of a server and starting or stopping any services remotely.

ØDaily scheduled LTO Tape backups as per checklist provided by customer.

ØTesting cable connectivity with help of cable tester.

ØLevel 1 support for Router links to Trouble shoot the network related issue.

ØProvide day-to-day support for internal network/WAN infrastructure and connectivity requirements.

ØImplementation and Maintenance Rack layout as per Data Center Design.

ØProvide support for Datacenter network infrastructure and testing the various configurations.

ØWorking on Centralized software Metasolv6 Application for handling M6 Task to keep the back up of customer data and solve the issues accordingly.

ØWorking on BMC Remedy 7.6.04 Version Application for handling tickets & creating new tickets related to customer service assurance and network related problems.

ØMonitoring the entire infrastructure of Data center & providing environmental support like Power, AC & security (access control) to ensure customer SLA’s are met as per IDC standards.

ØMaintaining Service Operation Request, i.e. SOR files, which consist of Incident Tracker, Schedules, handled for customer, Preventive Maintenance record, Remote Hands Service request provided to customer, issues handled for any customer etc.

ØPrepare, update databases and Preparing hourly shift report /Daily field report and generate weekly report.

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN DURING ACADEMICS

1.Title ( BE ) : “Remote Monitoring Based Attendance System Using GSM & RFID”

Description:

RFID means Radio Frequency Identification is a wireless identification technique which becomes very popular these days and is used for the identification of physical objects like products, humans etc. by the use of radio frequency. This technique is much more advantageous, safe, secure and easy with lower overhead in contrast with the other conventional technique used. It is much faster and it has two components i.e. RFID tag and RFID reader. In this paper, we have proposed a push based SMS sending approach by GSM cellular network to remote monitoring of attendance of student based on RFID.
