Project: ITAMAC 2000(Transit and Accounting Maintenance and Analysis of Calls) is a system which provides AT&T personnel with Call Detail and Trunk Outage information on the AT&T International and North American networks. This Application Interface Design specifically focuses on the EUC to ITAMAC Interface.

Enterprise Usage Collection (EUC) application collects ICDRs from the international 4ESS switches and the International Application Server (IAS) and routes these records to the International Automated Message Accounting Calls (ITAMAC) application. EUC receives the ICDR and performs the AMA conversion logic to create with in an AMA structure code (900 – Legacy T 4ESS, 910 - IAS), known as the ICDR Envelop. No manipulation of the ICDR data is done by EUC. EUC, basically, is a traffic distributor and thus passes the data downstream to ITAMAC. However, with the introduction of the IAS, the raw ASCII CDR file is sent to ITAMAC instead of the converted AMA structure (only for IAS usage records). This requirement was introduced to simplify processing within ITAMAC. The collected ICDRs are sent every 15 minutes to the AT&T Alpharetta, Georgia data center via CONNECT: Direct over the Unified Global Network (UGN) network EUC processes 1.35B records per day from over 3400 sources. The data is collected, evaluated for completeness and correctness, formatted, and packaged for each of the downstream clients. For ITAMAC, the ICDR is packaged into CLDS segments and distributed with the correct timing, file names, and labels per the ITAMAC requirements.

We generated reports that helped analyze how the customers are investing in mutual funds, trade stocks, bonds and mortgages by business users. The project involved development of various complex, Ad-hoc and canned reports. Large manipulations were done to generate reports that could help the mangers to analyze and improve the performance of company in the weaker areas and increase customer base.

Responsibilities:

Develop the universes, reports using Designer, Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence. Create metrics and Dashboards using Application foundation.

Export the universes to the Repository to make resources available to the users. Create reports for various Portfolios using the Universes as the main data Providers.

Handle all the change requests to the existing universes requested by reporting team.

Worked towards optimal development of universes by removing loops through the use of aliases and contexts, Creating Universe with number of Classes, many objects, Derived Tables using inner/outer and equiv. joins as per requirement.

Use the Dashboard Manager to build Dashboards and deploy them across the organization to monitor business performance.

Analyzed the business logic built into the warehouse and also gathered user requirements for the reporting work

Documented requirements and performed Gap analysis to identify the gaps.

Data modeled part of the warehouse tables and was part of the team in designing the final conceptual, logical, physical model.

Deciphered business rules to implement, test, debug and document data integrator batch jobs and real time jobs to extract
