Lender Notification Processing Solution:

Working with Vendor Accounts department, developed and implemented a new system to aggregate and transmit policy data, via Linux scripts, to third-party vendors.

Bank Payments Settlement System:

Developed and implemented comprehensive Unix based file transfer system to retrieve, decrypt, transmit and merge bank payment files through the Mainframe. Executed proof of concept with third party data transmission team to determine best approach and software to meet business requirements.

Batch Processing Refactoring:

Redesigned, debugged and enhanced critical batch processes and downstream systems which resulted in reduced job failures.

Disappearing Deductible Endorsement Processing:

Mainframe Encryption:

Using third party software PKWare, designed, coded and tested enhancements to encrypt all sensitive credit card data stored and reported within BJ’s Sales and Finance systems.

ProFoods Restaurant Supply:

Lead Programmer Analyst on new business venture which mandated the cloning of BJ’s Sales, Store Downloads, Membership and Online Sales Mainframe applications. All systems were duplicated and separated from the current BJ’s system, doubling current support responsibilities.

Gas Station Sales Processing:

Developed complex system to receive Gas Station sales directly into the Mainframe to be reformatted for processing into existing Sales and Financial system. Also created process control system using DB2 to remove duplicate sales data. Created intricate online screens to allow the Help Desk to identify successful, failed and missing gas station Sales file transmissions.

Member Insight Data Warehouse Legacy Systems Data Feeds:

Using Data Stage, created downloads of sales and membership data to the Member Insight data Warehouse.

Fuel Smart Mainframe Interface System:

Using FTP, PERL, COBOL and JCL, designed, coded, tested and implemented interface system between Windows based Fuel Smart Gas order and sales application and BJ’s Sales and Finance Mainframe systems.

Mainframe Disaster Recovery:

Responsible for enhancing, implementing and executing bi-yearly disaster recovery test for all Mainframe applications.
