My Responsibilities:
Involved in the Project right from pre-sales in Proposal preparation and firmly contributed till Delivery.

Description: I worked as part of Wintel Core Engineering division of the organization. The SharePoint team of this division had to plan every SharePoint implementation at the organization. The team mainly worked on customizing the SharePoint product as per the Bank needs in terms of deployment packages, branding, Quotas, Content Management, Availability and software features. We also resolve the escalations passed on by Level 3 support and Problems found in the in house developed SharePoint solutions. Our team’s Sign off is mandatory for any new implementations\changes to the SharePoint Applications and Server Farms. Due to the financial recession in 2007 the organization has gone under restructuring. The organization restructuring then lead the Organization wide infrastructure consolidation. As a part of this effort, we were given with the task to consolidate various SharePoint Server farms in the organization.

Designed large scale Server Farm consolidation which involved 4 medium server farms in multiple geographical locations and spread across multiple AD forests hosting 9000 site collections and facilitating 15000 users.
Identified gaps, designed and developed various tools to facilitate the consolidation of the SharePoint server farms.
