Accountable for capturing all related costs associated with preparing and submitting quotations and order entry. Ensure all technical application standards, practices and procedures are applied to satisfy customers’ specifications and expectations. Manage interactions between Engineering, Operations, Finance and Marketing to document cost and source data for each quotation.

02/07 – 07/14 Applications Engineer – GIW Industries – Grovetown, GA
Accountabilities: Review customer technical specification, terms and conditions and selection of appropriate equipment to satisfy those conditions. Generate a technical proposal along with a Comments, Clarifications and Exceptions List. Capture all associated cost and set margins as directed by Sales Department. Complete Order Entry and ensure all information is passed on to Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing and Project Management.
9/02 – 3/06 Chasing and Stocking Production Planner – CVS Distribution Center – North Augusta, SC
Accountabilities: Daily tracking of associates efficiencies, quality, attendance and overall performance. Staffing of each department according to volume. Accountable for 50 associates and assurance of completion of assigned daily tasks. Resolving any associates issues and reporting to the Operations Manager.
Inventory Control Supervisor – CVS Distribution Center – North Augusta, SC Accountabilities: Annual Fiscal Inventory Preparation and Implementation.
Daily cycle counting and reporting to corporate the monthly summaries.
Monitor and tracking of associates daily activities.
Split Case Production Planner – CVS Distribution Center – North Augusta, SC
Accountabilities: Schedule and assign work to 55-85 associates daily.
Determine proper staffing levels and maintain balanced workload.

6/98 – 4/02 Plant Engineer – Commonwealth Aluminum – Tube Enterprises, LLC – Gastonia, NC
Project Manager for $4.6 million dollar state-of-the-art aluminum tube mill featured in the Tube and Pipe Journal. Accountabilities included working with multiple vendors to establish finalized quotes, submit purchase orders, unloading, installation and verification of operating parameters.
4/01 – Honored with CII’s Professional Excellence Award. This award is given to only 10 employees per year for recognition in job performance and achievement.
1/99 - Project Manager for the purchase and installation of an exit end automation system on a tube mill in Bedford, OH. Project allowed for elimination of 2 packers per shift to increase mill profitability while increasing cut length quality and reliability.
7/98 - Project Manager for similar upgrade to a tube mill in Carson, CA.
8/97 – 6/98 Engineer – Norandal – Scottsboro, AL. Accountable to the design and implementation of an Access based HR program. Once completed, 660+ employees entire work history was entered to include current position performance, training, assigned safety equipment, first aid training, performance evaluations, etc.
10/93 – 8/97 Industrial Engineer – Sunbeam Outdoor Products – Waynesboro, GA.
Projects Included:
1.Project Leader for the installation of a 1400-ft. monorail conveyor system and falling parts guarding. The $119K project eliminated 6 material handlers.
2.Justified and installed a 100KW Solid State Generator for $160,000 that allowed for an increase in tubing production from 234 fpm to 530 fpm accounting for an a 16% increase in production.
3.Initiated a transition to plastic banding resulting in Annual Cost savings of $16,000.
4.Designed and supervised the construction of new racks for a State of the Art Powder Coat Paint System. The new racks increased production throughput resulting in $26,645 in direct labor savings.
