Sr QA Lead and Release Manager June 2015 – Current

Responsibilities.

As a Lead for the last 2.5 years, have been -

1.Mentoring and directing a team of offshore QA comprising a QA lead, 2 senior QA and a junior QA.

2.Assigning tasks on a daily basis and making sure they are completed by the assigned timeline.

3.Involving in project management activities, deciding timelines and communicating deadlines with client, prioritizing testing activities with team and scheduling.

4.Managing any defects that have come up and tracking the Defect Life cycle to fixing, re-testing and bug closing.

5.Holding status meetings with offshore team on a regular basis and communicating progress and tasks accomplished with the QA lead offshore.

6.Communicating issues and needs with Team Leads and Project Manager and resolving conflicts.

7.Coming up with Strategic Test Plans and ideas for QA’ing medium to large projects in consultation with Development and technical leads and mentoring the offshore team accordingly.

Responsibilities.
