ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS PARTNERSHIP January 2015 - Present Human Resources Manager

Senior Leadership partner at three of the largest call centres, and a fourth unique client group at Rogers; developing new business initiatives, fostering employee engagement, and mobilizing talent. Manager to three HR advisors and oversee the support of 1500+ employees.

Talent Development: Created a ‘Talent Assessment Tool’ that better equipped senior management to measure the leadership capabilities of their front-line Team Managers.

Cost Savings Measures: Developing a Rogers wide initiative to reduce absenteeism and attrition across all call centres by 50% in 2018.

Employee Relations: Introduced a proactive employee relations and communications programs to help strengthen employee satisfaction, and create better lines of communication between front-line employees and leadership. Saw an increase of 2% year over year in employee engagement.

Career Coaching: Continually supporting roll out of coaching services for leadership and new graduates across Rogers.

Transitioned from the role of Human Resources Coordinator to Business Partner supporting a Rogers Call Centre.

Development: Generated a training program for newly recruited Team Managers to assist with on- boarding. The program reviewed best practices in Performance and Attendance Management, review of HR Policies and Procedures, Labour Relations training, Respect and Dignity training for leaders, and coaching on effective conversations.

Internal Talent Mobility: Developed and rolled out a series of criteria to create consistency across Call Centres on how operational call centre roles are to be posted and communicated to employees.

Leadership and Relationship Building: Produced material and facilitated training sessions for Team Managers on the crafting and delivery of yearly and mid-year Performance Evaluations.

Best Recruitment Practices: Worked with the Talent Acquisition Team to refine and enhance the approach taken to recruit potential candidates across all Rogers call centres. Awarded a Business Impact Award in 2013.

HR Operations: Lead administrator providing support for the Year-End Performance Evaluation process for Rogers Wireless and Fido.

HRIS Technology: Member of the HRIS Content Review Task Force. Reviewed content, workflow and layout of the new HRIS system to be launched enterprise wide.
