Career plans

I have done three years of intensive training in ENT from Nair hospital Mumbai.

I am capable of managing O.P.D. and emergency cases that require urgent medical attention.

I have assisted and performed major and minor ENT and Head & Neck Surgeries.

I am academically inclined and have actively participated in departmental activities like organizing seminars, case presentations and clinical meetings.

I have actively participated during ISO 9001:2000 certification of my ENT department at Mumbai and have acquired training for the same.

I have been a member of the Organising committee for Endoscopic Skullbase Surgery Workshops in 2007 and 2008 and for CME on “Imaging in ENT” in Feb 2008 held at Mumbai.

I believe I have the ability to listen carefully and to explain effectively to patients, families, colleagues and others, and the ability to involve patients in decisions about their health care.

Beyond the realm of Medicine, my greatest passion is music, swimming and watching bollywood movies.

Personal Attributes

I have a caring attitude and can empathise and effectively communicate with patients. I develop good

rapport with my colleagues, seniors, paramedical staff and patients. I am able to respond appropriately to

emergency situations, to work well within a team, to act on own initiative and able to act on criticism. I

have learnt to handle stress in a fast moving environment and can work under pressure to effectively

discharge my duties. I am aware of my limitations and consult senior colleagues appropriately.

I have a basic understanding of the principles of good record keeping, ethical and medico legal issues

& risk management .
