5.WORKING HISTORY AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCES

From February 2017 up to now: I work for Eastsea Star Software Co. Ltd (ESS) in Ho Chi Minh City as Senior Geophysicist. ESS is oil Service Company which has well insight software for log interpretation and ESS provides geophysical work also. I conducted two (2) 3D seismic surveys design for Phu Quoc POC & Vietsovpetro in Vietnam and 400 km2 3D seismic interpretation and seismic attribute study for Cuu Long JOC. All interpretation results have been accomplished with excellent Client’s commendation.

From June 2016 to November 2016: I worked for Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company Sdn Bhd (“CPOC”) as Senior Reservoir Geophysicist. I conducted more than 600 km2 3D seismic interpretation and seismic attribute study for Amarit field. Seven (7) wells have been drilled and resulted in five (5) wells excellent results.

From January 2014 to March 31, 2016: I worked for Petronas Carigali in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as Senior Geophysicist. I was sent to CPOC which is an Operator of the Block B17, Malay basin as a Senior Geophysicist. During this time, I accomplished the following works:

Authored 300 km2 3D seismic interpretation and seismic attribute study for Mali prospect. The development plan for Mali prospect has been postponed due to the change of CPOC’s strategy.

Conducted approximately 600 km2 3D seismic interpretation and seismic attribute study for Muda-F field. Seven (7) development wells were designed and subsequently drilled with successes.

Conducted more than 300 km2 3D seismic interpretation and seismic attribute study for Melati field. Nine (9) development wells were designed, drilled and producing.

Authored more than 400 km2 3D seismic interpretation and seismic attribute study for Amarit field. In Amarit field have a lot of problem with fault shadow, shallow gas and thin sand interbedded with coal layers. Those problems lead very poor data quality for seismic interpretation and seismic attribute’s study. Base on study’s result new 3D broad band data is recommended to reduce the risks and got approval from management. Update interpretation have done and seven (7) wells have been drilled and resulted in five (5) wells excellent results.

Member of the QC processing team responsible for 700 km2 3D seismic PSTM/PSDM in Jinda Andalas area and 1,700 km2 3D seismic PSTM/PSDM broad band data in Muda field.

From August 2006 to December 2013: I worked for PTTEPI in Myanmar as a Consultant Geophysicist. The following works were carried out:

2,700 km 2D seismic interpretation onshore Blocks EP-2 & PSC-G. Joined with the team to propose more than 2,500 km 2D seismic which afterwards acquired in 2012. Involved in seismic acquisition and processing tender evaluation for onshore blocks. Based on this seismic interpretation results, two (2) exploration well proposals were submitted.

2D seismic interpretation in deep water Block M11 by using old seismic data set. In charge of 5,000 km 2D seismic design, acquisition, processing and interpretation in the Blocks M9 & M11 in 2007 and 2012 and 1,200 km2 3D design in the Block M11.

1,200 km 2D seismic acquisition and interpretation for shallow water Block M3. Member of team to prepare the Well proposal and Well completion reports (successfully discovered gas in carbonate reservoirs).

2,000 km2 3D seismic interpretation in appraisal campaign in the Block M9. Four (4) appraisal wells were drilled with gas discovery in clastic section.

4,000 km 2D seismic interpretation with the aim to evaluate the remaining hydrocarbon potential in Western part of Block M9. This 2D seismic data interpretation result is the premise for the recommendation of additional 2,000 km 2D infill seismic survey and 2,500 km2 3D seismic acquisition.

From September 2003 to June 2006: I worked for Petronas Carigali Vietnam Company as a Geophysicist. I was in charge of 3,000 km2 3D seismic interpretation in the Blocks 01&02, offshore Vietnam where both fractured granite basement and clastic present reservoirs present.

Since February 1998, I worked for Japan Vietnam Petroleum Company (JVPC) as a Junior Geophysicist until September 2001 then I moved to Hoan Vu JOC (joint venture between Petrovietnam, SOCO and PTTEP) worked as Geophysicist.

Conducted geophysical works including site survey, rig positioning, VSP acquisition and seismic processing.

Member of team responsible for 3D PSTM/PSDM seismic interpretation in the Block 15-2, offshore Cuu Long basin, Vietnam. The exploration effort resulted in oil and gas discovery in Miocene clastic section and fractured granite basement.

To be trained on job for two (2) years.

After graduated from the Ha Noi University Mining and Geology in November 1996, I worked for Petrovietnam Exploration & Production Company as a Junior Geophysicist.
