Avionic Technician

Responsible for complete operational check-out of electronic systems prior to or after installation on the aircraft. Diagnosed malfunctions and adjusted, repaired, or replaced parts indicated by results of checks through use of complex circuit diagrams, equipment instruction books, functional test specifications, check sheets and written information furnished by Engineering.

Managed the logistics, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and support services for airframes, powerline, safety equipment technician, and Ordnance; provided reports and reviews to ensure 100% operational efficiency and oversight.

Maintained supply readiness while staying within allowed budget, determining supply needs based on current and future demands, budget, and on-hand inventory; coordinated with various supply facilities to acquire desired supplies.

Troubleshot, isolated, and repaired armament, electrical, and avionics systems; inspected and analyzed aircraft systems to execute maintenance to include disassembly, repair, replacement or adjustment.

Completed over 1K hours in a fiscal year of troubleshooting using special electronic test equipment on $300M worth aircraft.
