SYNOPSIS

Electrical Engineer with ** years’ of unique experience which is the combination of design, engineering, power system studies, construction, commissioning, maintenance and reliability in electrical and instrumentation.

Worked in countries including Canada, USA, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan where served in EPCM, refinery, oilsands, petrochemical, pipelines, desalination & RO plants, thermal / diesel power generation and industrial gas plants.

Well experienced in Hazardous Area Classifications, Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, Static/Dynamic motor Starting, Relays Coordination/Protection, Harmonic Analsysis, 40 MW generator dynamic/ stability studies for TransCanada Pipelines. Extensive use of software such as ETAP 14.1.0/12.6.5/7.5, SKM v7.0.1.1, EasyPower v9.0, ATPDraw 5.7 and MathCad 13/15.

Specialized in LV / MV plant improvement, retrofits and capital sustaining projects. Developed more than 200 Construction Work Packages for major oil industry clients including Shell Scotfod, Shell Albian Sands, Petro–Canada, Suncor Energy, Enbridge Pipeline, Agrium, ConocoPhillips, CNRL, Cameco, Capital Power and TransCanada.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

During last 2 years, performed Agrium Inc. (Now Nutrien after Agrium and Potash merger) 20 sites across North America Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash & Protection Coordination Study using ETAP v14.1.0 after collecting field data, electrical equipment assessment, single lines redlines/as-builts and development of Risk Register and printing arc flash label. The major emphasis was on arc flash mitigation methods and techniques.

Designed Power Laboratory (including the building design) for Engineering Students Teaching and hands-on work in Keyano College, Fort McMurray, AB.

Maintained 17,500 industrial, commercial and residential water flow meters in Jubail Saudi Arabia. Serviced more than 6000 flow meters to increase company’s revenue by utilizing the available resources.

Performed QA/QC Inspector role during the expansion of Shell Upgrader in Fort Sasketchewn, Alberta and acted as Shell Engineer to take over electrical installations from the contractors and punched more than 4000 deficiencies items.
