Analysis of Effect of Vibration Absorber on Spring-Mass System using NDE methods: Fall 2017 Analyzed a vibratory system with an absorber attached for frequencies and identified a suitable stiffness and mass for it with the help of a MATLAB code on a trial-error basis with the effect of amplitude for each trial value.

Crashworthiness & Occupancy Protection Projects: Winter 2017 4 Projects related to Crash Analysis of Car which includes Frontal Crash Analysis, Roof Crush Analysis, Rear Crash Analysis & Composite Materials and Structural Formulation for Crash Analysis wherein LS-Dyna software was used to analyze the crash and the car was modified in many ways thus comparing the modified vehicle with the baseline car to minimize and limit the after-crash effect. Introduced new methods of connection to get optimum results & thus give crash analysis results of CSI & HIC plots for the dummy model of driver following the FMVSS norms.

Composite Laminate Design of Wind Turbine Blade: Fall 2016 Developed a MATLAB code to carry out calculations for a part of wind turbine blade of 7-ply hybrid laminates of carbon & glass fibers specifically for a given angle of orientation to evaluate stresses.

Automated Dual Axis Solar Tracking System using Photodiode as Sensor: September 2015 – April 2016 Created a novel prototype design of a solar tracking system using photodiode as a sensor to actively track solar radiation and adjust the panel perpendicular to sun’s rays to maximize the power output thus increasing its efficiency. Being the Leader of the group, modeling of the solar tracking system was designed on SolidWorks such that the solar panel could rotate 360 which proved to be effective.

Automatic Street Lightning System: March 2015 – April 2015 Executed a working model of an automatic street lightning system using IC 555 as a timer circuit which helps turn on and off the street lights as the car passes by the sensor which in turn will help save a lot of electric energy.
