Collaborated for Wire Rod Mill department to study the working of shear pin and other safety set couplings on the production line

Executed lean tools (5S, Kaizen, 8D, 5Why’s, Cycle time reduction) and suggested continuous improvement ideas

Initiated an equal member of a 3-person team responsible for implementing continuous improvement project on Optimization of constraints in Wire Rod Mill department – resulting in savings of 2,07,20,000 INR/ month approximately

Proposed and Introduced a new age “Hydraulic Torque limiting Safety Couple” replacing the traditional shear pin couplings to reduce the breakdown period of the mill – resulting in slashing the replacement time of couplings by 70%

Increased the mill capacity utilization by 20% introducing the new age hydraulic torque limiting couple

Minimized the total cost lost due to production lag by 76% - equivalent to 51,80,900 INR/breakdown
