HARDWARE IMPLEMENTATION OF MODIFIED DIAMOND SEARCH ALGORITHM

Modified Diamond Search algorithm is proposed for fast motion estimation based on the well known Diamond Search (DS) algorithm. A set of computationally efficient algo-rithms that can be applied to any block matching algorithm and is applied to the DS as a study case achieves higher complexity reduction than DS algorithm without further relative peak signal to noise ratio degradation compared to Full Search.

IMPLEMENTATION OF FIVE STAGE PIPELINING OF RISC PROCESSOR FOR PARALLLEL PROCESSING

This project presents the structural design and the functonal charcteristics of a general purpose RISC processor.the design RISC processor is a pipeline RISC processor with 5 stages of pipelining.A variety of instructions have been implemented for data,structural and timing hazards.
