Purification and characterization of a new allergenic protein in Mite farinae, using different protein purification methods such as: gel filtration chromatography, SDS-PAGE (both analytical as well as preparative), electroelution of protein molecules, Western blotting, ELISA and different protein quantitation methods. Purification and characterization of proteins causing allergic reactions and coupling these proteins to a solid matrix to be used in an allergy-testing device. Also, development of assays (chemical, biochemical and ELISA.) and writing protocols, SOPs, MBRs, QAP and QTS documents for these assays and protein purification procedures to be used by the QA and manufacturing departments.
