Customer required automating the Superannuation rollovers using legislative guidelines from ATO [Australian Taxation office]. Customer has various investment products and Superannuation funds can be partially or completely invested in a particular fund. The challenge was to route the incoming fund to various PAS (Product Administration Systems) using a standardized framework.
Following best practices were considered to provide the solution for business requirement:
Separate business functionality in separate integration layer.
Keep application adapters as standalone components (as facades for various third party systems).
This approach helped in reducing redundant processes and providing a common framework to manage the super fund. The solution proved to be robust and extensible.
This project went live in July 2013.

The power distribution needs to be done via various existing suppliers and lots of new suppliers are anticipated. The Enduring Solution needed to support a fully competitive electricity market in Northern Ireland, and in particular, remove the restrictions imposed by the Interim solution delivered in 2007. The major challenge in this business was uncertainty over number of suppliers. The solution needs to be dynamic enough to accommodate a new supplier or delete a supplier which opts out of power distribution system.
Wipro Consultants proposed a B2B based solution (using TIBCO business connect) to handle this complex requirement.
Benefit of using a B2B approach was adding lot of flexibility in deciding rules and contracts between distributor and various suppliers and adding/modifying any number of suppliers based on business demand.
