Academic Projects

Sub-group Leader of Engineering Design & Manufacturing Process

Dissected the entire DCF815 Impact driver to understand how each sub system operatesUsed statistical tools such as Analysis of variance and multiple comparison procedures to analyze test data.Performed torque measurements to drive the screw as a function of screw rotations or angular position.Worked on redesign of the tool to make it more heat efficient.Built 3D CAD models of the device and performed F.E.A and drop tests using Solidworks.

CAD systems Design Project (Team Member)

Designed and updated front, back wheels, engine, wings and fuselage for a Boeing airplane assembly on PTCCreo as part of a team of 4.Composed and presented a PowerPoint presentation explaining what the advantages of these updates were.

Waste-Management (Team member)

Evaluated amount of municipal solid waste produced by community and produced possible methods to disposeof waste by removing mercury and CO2 from exhaust gases. Calculated waste to energy generation and researched the technologies that is most efficient.Presented results in 20-page report with schematic drawings and process descriptions.

Engineering Design Project (Individual)

Designed and constructed RC car using xbee module.Designed circuit for remote control and car to work simultaneously and installed light sensors to control lights.Programmed on Arduino, to move in direction user chooses on remote control.

Engineering Design Project Solar Rover (Group Leader)

Managed team of 3 students to work within project guidelines and timeframe to design, built, and test mini solarrover.Designed and constructed circuitry for vehicle consisting of solar cells.Created Pro-Engineer design drawings.3D printed ball and socket joint.

Bachelor of Science: Mechanical Engineering, May 2017University of Maryland - College Park, MDAffiliation: American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
