Description: The main intention of this project is to create the fault condition in the CANalyzer / CANoe Tool and monitoring of the characteristic response of the Electronic Control Unit and comparing measured parameters against some predetermined pass/fail criteria as per the requirements. Associated with every fault condition are diagnostic trouble codes that are uniquely assigned to every circuit, component, and system failure mode. The system periodically diagnoses the inputs from the on-board and determines the fault conditions based on the received data.

Description: The work involves the functional Verification and validation of the embedded application (Chassinf Module) by sending valid and invalid vehicle variants through diagnostics (Diag Tool)/ Communication protocol (CANalyzer) and monitoring corresponding module trims and faults for invalid variants.
Chassinf Input validation is ensured or confirmed when the configuration data sent on CAN to chassinf is copied correctly. Chassinf Output validation is ensured or confirmed when the configuration data sent out correctly from chassinf to other subsystems. ROM Index Validation is ensured or confirmed when the observed TRIM values for all the subsystems (ABS, AC, DECEL, IB, VSS, YSC and TC) are as expected when the valid configuration is set.
