Cisco Systems / Wells Fargo Bank Atlanta, GA

Voice / Network Engineer - Provisioning Engr (contract) (Sept 2015 – Oct. 2016)

As a contracted provisioning engineer with Cisco Systems, my job function was to plan and document for new voice/wireless network migrations for client WellsFargo. Main task was to ensured that the voice gateway configs were built out properly with the correct variables and configs, within BGP, DHCP scoop, TFTP server, call manager specifics, voice translation, dial-peers, SCCP, MGCP, SIP, voice register pool, dialplan and SRST fallback settings. CallManager configs are prebuilt by Well Fargo voice engineers, but I was to verify that provisions were correct and made appropriate changes when needed in the UCS.

Some branch offices needed their AP upgraded, so I would replace the old AP with new Cisco wireless access points and wireless security modules. I ensured that the configs for the wireless staging controller was built correctly and that the controller could see both the AP and security module, before transferring provisions from the Staging controller to the Primary controller. Also, added the new AP's into Cisco Prime for network inventory and location of AP.

Ensured that the voice gateways had the appropriate hardware and licenses ( FXO/FXS card, memory, UCK9/CME and EVM card, if needed). Upgraded the Voice GW routers to 2900 series, when needed.

Once field tech is onsite and had all the IP phones setup, I start loading the voice and wireless configs on the router, along with the switch vlans and trunks configs for the 3750 switches, before I start the cutover of the new services. Once configs have been applied and LNP is completed, we start testing inbound/outbound calls and SRST fallover and making appropriate change to the individual phones(enabling speaker, voicemail, etc).

Utilized the following soft tools to perform the migrations successfully: HPNA, Cisco Prime, DevicePro, site cutsheets, PAC2000

Fusion Technologies Atlanta, GA

Network Engineer - Provisioning Contract (Dec 2015 – May 2016)

Configs consist of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SIP, MGCP, NAT, VPN and any other config needs(ex: failover), depending on the services agreement of the client contract.

Fusion core and edge routers consist of Cisco ASR9000, ONS and 7600 series routers. I was responsible for building out and implementing the MPLS/BGP/OSPF/VPN core configs on those devices for each customer that was migrated on to the network. Also, ensured that the configs and the right resources (memory, WIC, VIC, licenses etc)was installed and configured on the CPE managed routers and switches that were to be installed at the customer premise. CPE hardware consist of 3800, 2900 and 1800 series routers. And 3750 switches, if needed. Just depened on the type of services to be provided.

Some VPN and security provisionings were builtout on the Cisco ASA firewalls for customers utilizing cloud

services.

Once CPE hardware has been installed at the customer premise, I start buildout of the customers voice, video and data configs, along with the switch trunks and vlans needed, before I start the cutover of the customers services.
