Prototype and PCB

Energy Harvesting System Design Fall 2013

Developed a solar cell model using LTC3105 step-up converter to regulate the voltage.

Built a solar cell phone charger using LTC3105 by designing a schematic on LTspice and implementing the circuit on PCB using Diptrace.

Constructed the charger PCB circuit and tested by connecting a mobile phone through USB.

CMOS Feedback Amplifiers Fall 2013

Designed and built three different types of amplifiers. The first was an open loop feed forward, the second a series-shunt, and finally the third was a series series.

All amplifiers were designed and tested in LTspice. The first two were built on the bread board and tested with Python.

Automated Testing and Simulation of Analog Circuits Spring 2013

Designed simple Common Source and Common Gate Amplifiers having a gain of 10 using LTSpice programing.

The output and various parameters were tested using the Oscilloscope, Multi-Meter and the function generator. Upon examination we debugged the circuit design and modified it to match given specs.

Furthermore, we simulated the same results using Python programing and measured the Gain, Cut off Frequency and Unity Gain Frequency. Lastly all of these were shown on a Bode Plot using Python.

I/O Interface Circuit with USB I/O Board Fall 2012

A 4-by-4 keypad was implemented to display the key-pressed on 7-segment LED.

USB I2CIO interface pin was integrated as an interface for keypad and 7-segment LED.

Coding was done in C++ to read and display data using keypad and 7-segment display respectively
