Manufacturing and engineering services, developing innovative electronic, engineered and structural solutions for complex applications in aerospace.

Director of Program Management - Ducommun AeroStructures (September 2016 – January 2018)

Leadership of Program Management, Business Development, and Strategic Planning for the Business Unit. Responsible for implementation of customer strategies to achieve long term objectives, and managing the Voice of Customer (VOC) expectations. Ownership of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & Long Range Plan (LRP). Oversee the New Product Introduction (NPI) as well as the bid process. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) engagement to manage customer demand.

Key Accomplishments:

Created and managed KPI dashboard to track sales and delivery performance for over fifty customer accounts, implement corrective actions to keep KPI’s and VOC green.

Developed the Business Unit sales team to drive growth utilizing core competencies while collaborating with Corporate Business Development Team to support overall Corporate growth plan.

Vice President of Programs – Zodiac Monuments US (February 2016 – September 2016)

Value Stream Leader for production of Airbus A350 Lavatories for all airline customers. Ownership of delivery and business performance over life of Program. Oversight of all contractual changes and new additions to expand the product catalog.

Key Accomplishments:

Managed Program execution to recover past due production backlog, to have program back on schedule to support A350 build schedule within a three month period.

Coached, recruited, and developed the cross functional team necessary to support long term rate enablement.

Director, 787 Galleys Development & Industrialization – Zodiac Galleys US (September 2013 – February 2016)

Led the development project for design, certification, staffing, and industrialization of new 787 galley product line valued over $150M in production. Created and executed the business plan with a $24M budget over 2 years to develop and certify the product line. Built and led Business Reporting Unit representing all functional departments. Oversaw team of engineering and operations personnel comprised of 10 direct and over 100 indirect reports across the US, Germany and India.

Key Accomplishments:

Spearheaded the development and industrialization efforts for a new 787 galley product line, estimated to deliver 20% of the Business Unit’s annual revenue.

Authored and executed the business plan for the new product line that delivered a quality product line with 30% EBITA.

Successfully supported Entry Into Service (EIS) despite the schedule being compressed from 24 to 18 months.

Managed the P&L, budget, and scheduling for programs with total production revenue over $200M. Responsible for product and service roadmap for future product enhancements. Oversaw the delivery performance of existing products, including part obsolesce management and aftermarket support.

Key Accomplishments:

Managed R&D initiatives to decrease cost by 40% based on requirements and introduction of new technologies.

Slashed product cost target by 20% with a strong design-to-cost effort, leading to a 4% increase in ROS.

Engaged with sales to capture new programs, including a new regional jet program valued over $150M in production.
