1. Green House Data Gathering and Controlling System Based on IOT Technology Environment: PIC Microcontroller 16F877A

Duration: 6 months during the 8th semester of Bachelor of Engineering Description:

The Green house is the fastest growing sector worldwide. This project is on designing a control unit for applications and processing of data in-between the agro-applications with the help of latest and trending technology i.e. IOT. Agriculture applications get controlled wirelessly using GSM modem and WiFi, in which temperature, humidity, moisture, air flow, motor and some agricultural applications get communicate and controlled. It mainly consists of monitoring part and receiving part. In the monitoring part the sensors will sense the various parameters of the environment like humidity, temperature and soil moisture. Sensors are connected to the microcontroller unit and the output values from the sensors are displayed on the LCD display. Simultaneously GPRS module connected to the microcontroller unit will send the output values to the receiving part i.e. cloud so that the person can have access to the data throughout the globe. 2. Automatic Vehicle Accident Detection and Messaging System using GSM and GPS module Environment: Microcontroller AT89S52

Duration: 6 months during the 6th semester of polytechnic diploma Description:

The advent of technology has increased the traffic hazards and the road accidents take place frequently which causes huge loss of life and property because of the poor emergency facilities. This project will provide an optimum solution to this draw back. An accelerometer can be used in a car alarm application so that dangerous driving can be detected. It can be used as a crash or rollover detector of the vehicle during and after a crash. With signals from an accelerometer, a severe accident can be recognized. According to this project when a vehicle meets with an accident immediately vibration sensor will detect the signal or if a car rolls over, and Micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) sensor will detects the signal and sends it to microcontroller. Microcontroller sends the alert message through the GSM MODEM including the location to police control room or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location and necessary action can be taken. Responsibilities:
