WORK EXPERIENCE

PMO AND PROJECT COORDINATOR

Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day running of projects by assisting project managers and senior managers. Also involved in the development, updating and monitoring of business and action plans

Duties:

Assisting and supporting the Project Manager in their daily duties.

Ensuring that relevant management information is captured and analyzed

Providing project support to senior Project Managers

Reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery

Responsible for handling the projects finances.

Acting as administrative support to Project Managers and Directors on projects

Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks

Communicating with project manager to report on project status

Resolving any financial queries that are raised

Involved in Coordinating projects from inception to completion

Developing training and briefing material for staff

Keeping in close contact with key project members and decision makers

Involved in interpreting performance data and translate this into practical improvements.

Preparing Delivery Dash Boards for all respective stake holders

Coordinate and Collate status report, financials, weekly/monthly reviews from various locations and build a summarized view for the stake holder

Analyzing the data received and question back in case of deviations, discrepancies, etc.

Monitoring projects, tracking schedules/deviations, evaluating staffing from regular status reporting, Monthly reviews

Developing reporting templates, maintaining them and publishing error free reports as per defined schedules

Interpreting large amounts of data and provide clear insights based on historic and forecasted data.

Proactively driving and facilitating the usage of common methods, tools, templates and the services given by Shared Services

Responsibility of resource fulfillment i.e. Resource allocation and de-allocation from the project

Attending Review meetings with customer wherever there is an impact on deliverables

Preparing and forecasting the projections for the quarter

Tracking the Delivery Milestones of each project within the SLA’s defined

Assigning the tasks for each resource for the project duration

Preparing Schedule and Effort Variance for each Project

Maintaining resource tracking sheet for new pipeline projects

Publishing weekly and monthly reports to various stakeholders

Handling Vendor Management process in which we need to issue Purchase Orders, Vendor Invoices and Vendor Payments

Monitor contractual agreements for all Deliverables for the project

Sending advance alerts to the stakeholders wherever there is going to be delivery slippage as per the scheduled date

Maintaining Invoice Management for all PO’s and tracking for closure

Sending invoices to customer and clarifying their queries on invoices

Completing joining & exit formalities for each associate of the Account

ACHIEVEMENTS

Had an enriching and a great value-adding experience as a PMO, both personally and to the Organization

Received several appreciations from Project managers, Unit/Competency heads for the knowledge sharing on best practices and the support provided; in lieu of the projects increased profitability or minimized loss

Handling yearly revenue of $ 20 MN ( $1.6 MN every month)

Trained 12 coordinators on various tools
