Projects

Design of Windows Application Graphical User Interface using C# Aug - 2017

•Designed and implemented a Windows Application GUI and a SQL database for keeping track of information about the Trailers going in and coming out of the Materials department at Lear.

•This was done using SQL server express to establish a connection between the database and the application. Visual Studio 2017 was used to create the application in which a user can enter the trailer #, shipping information etc. The application also provided the Inbound, Outbound and Pending Status reports. All the code was written in C# and database was managed in SQL language. Lastly, I tested the application with multiple error generation and resolving conflicts.

Design of Client User Interface using SQL Oct - 2016

•Designed a database within CBSI’s mailing software writing queries to add specific fields to database like zip code, state, tracking number barcode. CSV file contained 50,000 records with 50 columns or more which needed to be sorted as good data and non-deliverable record.

•This was done using the excel functions like to combine and remove bad data. Concatenation, text to columns V-Lookup table and MACROS creation and many such functions were used.

Design of Virtual Reality 3-D Camera Jan - 2017

•Created a 360-degree camera system capable of recording and capturing videos with a viewing angle of 360 degrees around. Users of this system will be able to create 360 degree images and video media for various uses like entertainment and virtual reality. Programming was done in Python.

•I was involved with the design, structure, documentation, testing and programming the software for the camera. The system architecture creation and documenting main source problems was my main role in this project.

Software testing tools Mar - 2016

•Used Junit and Jacoco (Eclipse) for unit testing third party java code. The two types of testing techniques involved:

-Unit testing- testing individual program units in isolation. Developed test cases on application testing and worked around with Junit in Java programming.

-Integration testing – testing units that were assembled to construct larger groups.

Linux project Nov - 2016

•Shell Programming: Created a shell (msh), like bourne shell (bash), or korn shell (ksh) that accepted commands, forked child process and executed those commands. The shell, like csh or bash, ran and accepted commands until the user exits the shell.
