July 2011 – Present SOC US Embassy, Baghdad, Iraq Serves as a Complex Supervisor in a high threat environment at the Baghdad Embassy Compound, Baghdad, Iraq; responsible for the overall supervision of Five Site Supervisors and over 100 Armed Guards; responsible for ensuring all posts in my area of operation are manned IAW Exhibit A of the contract; ensures all general/post orders, break and log books are maintained IAW the BESF Tasking Order; responsible for the supervision, management and training of over 100 Kenyan, Ugandan & Peruvian Guard Force members; maintains communications with the Regional Security Office (RSO) and Tactical Operations Center (TOC); verifies access control rosters of all personnel and equipment attempting to gain access at all Entry Control Points (ECPs); ensures all access control measures are strictly enforced using CCTV, Access Rosters; maintains a DOS open-net account for daily security updates; utilizes the Net Access Tracking system for maintaining 100% accountability of guard force members and equipment in area of responsibility; maintains qualifications on all required weapons systems IAW DOS guidelines; overall responsible for force protection, physical security and access control guard force elements. Uses Microsoft Office programs to record all training records, weapons qualifications and badge renewals for all assigned personnel.

Advised the Commander on training, logistics, personnel and unit mobilization readiness requirements and ensured the unit develops updates and maintains comprehensive mobilization plans. Recommended solutions for needs of the unit in all aspects of the mobilization readiness.
April 2007 – July 2008 1st ID FT Riley, KS Afghanistan
During my deployment to Afghanistan I was assigned as the Personal Security Lead for all operations for US Army/Afghan VIPs in my area of operation in Afghanistan. As PSS Team Lead conducted over 150 QRF/ERT missions with US/Afghan QRF/ERT security forces that provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week security for Zabul Province Afghanistan. As PSS Lead was also the advisor for a 200 man Afghan Army and Police security force. I conducted PSS operations with Afghan Army and Police Security Forces for all Army/Police Generals, VIPs and the Governor of Zabul Province . As PSS lead supervised, planned and conducted route recons, detected threats, maintained security post at principles residence. Led and Trained Afghan Army and Police forces in Personal Security Operations. While serving as PSS Team Lead supervised Afghan Army/Police forces, diligently monitoring the flow of traffic at main access control points and conducting inspections of vehicle, and visitors entering coalition Forward Operating Bases. As a Combat advisor my mission was to teach, coach and mentor Afghani security forces preparing them to take the lead of their countries stability operations, and also maintain their unit equipment equaling values of $10 Million. This enabled the rapid development of Afghan leadership capabilities; helped develop command and control and operational capabilities at every echelon; allowed direct access to Coalition Forces enablers to enhance Afghani security force counter insurgency operations to include lethal and nonlethal effects on the battlefield.

Light Infantry Platoon Sergeant – Performed duties as a Rifle Platoon Sergeant in a Light Infantry Battalion, assumed duties as the Platoon Leader in his absence. Responsible for training a 39 man Infantry Platoon with a go to war mission in support of US National Policy for World Wide Contingencies. Supervised 9 NCOs and 30 Enlisted Soldiers. Assisted the Platoon Leader with training plans, instruction and coordination; maintains combat readiness for world Wide Deployment. Responsible for accountability and maintenance for over $3,000,000 worth of equipment.

Served as a Drill Sergeant for over 3years at FT Knox, KY instructing Basic Training Soldiers on all Initial Entry Soldier skills to include instruction on the fundamentals of Basic Rifle Marksmanship. Was awarded Drill Sergeant of the cycle twice. Earned Distinguished Honor Platoon or Honor PLT for the last 7 Cycles of my Drill Sergeant assignment. Made the Commandants list from Drill Sergeant School for achieving the second highest score in the class of over 50 students.
