Installed as Interim CEO in November 2012 and was asked to take the President/CEO position permanently in January 2013. Worked with the Board of Directors to address the organization’s operational and personnel deficiencies as well as working to restore organizational and financial disciplines. Positioned Alliance to be the dominant credit union in the market and positioned Alliance as the financial institution that the under banked and unbanked Hispanic population could trust.

Financial Management

oBrought the Alliance back into compliance with NCUA

oIncreased CAMEL score in the course of six (6) months

oReturned $1.3M to the membership in the form of interest rebates and bonus dividends

Organizational Restructuring

oAnalyzed operations and developed a restructuring plan that included recruitment of a new senior management team
