In 2008, our Superintendent asked us to give an hour of our time to work with students on Math and Reading. Several of our folks did Math but, I signed up for Reading in either KG or 1st grade levels at Thew Elementary, a title I school. I have continued this since my retirement and it has been a rewarding thrill working with those little folks and hopefully making a difference in their lives.
