Facilities Manager
Lead, plan and direct all day to day operations for four buildings measuring roughly 1 million square feet.
Coordinate contracting services and housekeeping services ensuring high quality, timely completion, and effective and efficient services.
Provide input and collaborate with senior faculty and staff to include the Director of Finance to provide strategic planning for renovations and new construction.
Oversee all contracts for the school, to include over 100 procurement cards and Cellular service for all school issued phones.

Develop and implement a budget for purchasing, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment and furnishings.
Define, implement, and educate faculty and staff on operating procedures.
Create policies for parking and serve as access control liaison for the entire school.
Monitor all staff and facility expenditures through SAP, provide assurance of proper billing and resolution of questionable charges. Prepare budget for the facility; monitor and ensure adherence to budget.
Recruit, Hire and retain a workforce.
Supervise all maintenance and facilities workers to ensure repairs, and renovations, are completed to a high standard. This includes internal workers and external vendors.
Serve on Duke Universities’ emergency management response team; lead in the implementation of emergency plans in appropriate situations.
Serve as Events and Resources supervisor, supervising special events that take place at School.
Coordinate relocations, equipment and equipment rental, recycling/trash/compost set-up, and vendor parking.
