Oversee housekeeping work order assignments are prioritized and fulfilled in a timely manner.
Develop work standards, methods and procedures for efficient operations.
Monitor and control the inventory of housekeeping supplies. Order timely supplies.
Coordinate with the team for work activities to ensure clean, orderly and attractive rooms in hotels and similar establishments. Make daily assignment for room attendants.
Provide for the comfort of guests in hotels by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and properly presented. Promote positive image of hotel properties to guests.
Responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms including reporting room status discrepancies and problems.
Develop housekeeping manual comprising of all systems & procedures to be followed.
Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other amenities.
Perform duties efficiently and handle complaints on housekeeping service and equipment and capable to take corrective action. Observe & enforce hotel rules & regulations.
Purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, assist in screening applicants and recommend dismissals. Coordinate with the reception and other departments of the hotel.
Ability to perform any of the needed cleaning tasks and laundry tasks including floor maintenance procedures when staffing is not available.
