Project Description:

The Newport PP3 of the Resorts World at Newport City, Pasay City is a Commercial – Hospitality Complex composed of a Maxims’ VIP Hotel, and two other Luxury Hotels such as Hilton and Sheraton. The three luxury hotels will be sitting on a podium wherein the ground floor is dedicated for the hotel lobbies as well as a number of High-end commercial spaces. The Maxims will have private gaming suites at Ground and 2nd Floors. The 2nd level is dedicated for private gaming rooms, main casino area and some retail shops. At the third level will be the Hotel Amenities of the two other Luxury Hotels which consists of swimming pools, spas, gyms and meeting rooms. There will also be a number of hotel rooms at this level. The complex will have 6 basements, of which the upper basement 1 will be connected to Remington Hotel’s basement 1 level and Maxims Hotel’s basement 1 level. Basement 1 will be dedicated for the back of house area of the 3 hotels. Two bridge links will also be introduced from 2nd floor of the Existing Passion Restaurant and the Mall to the new Newport PP3 Complex’s 2nd floor.

Total Construction Floor Area (CFA) is estimated at around 216,850.17 square meters.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct inspection, monitoring and ensure technical analysis of survey and field data for the development foundations, columns, slab and other structure.

Supervises the review and evaluation of technical requirements and documentation for specified quality criteria.

Delegates the responsibility of establishing and implementing the QC program.

Develops and manages QC inspection and test procedures and instructions.

Manages control, indexing and maintenance of all project QC procedures, instructions, records and documents.

Manages the logging, distribution, control and filling of all technical documents and changes to them, assuring all obsolete documents are recalled.

Evaluates quality control activities, records and documentation, reporting, quality trends and implement corrective actions.

Monitors QC facilitates and activities assuring compliance with test procedure requirements.

Acts and represents Company in all matters pertaining to Quality Control.

Perform task that may be assigned from time to time.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct inspection, witness testing, monitoring and ensures that all related activities were implemented in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plans (PQP’s), Quality Control Procedures (QCP’s), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s), an d Issued For Construction' drawings (IFC’s).

Raises Request for Inspections (RFI) for Witnessing and / or Hold Points per applicable Typical Inspection Plan (TIP’s) to Project Management Team (PMT) and Project Inspection Department (PID).

Witnessing Hydrostatic Test, Flow Test, Gravity Test of newly installed piping system, spools, hangers, valves and other appurtenances needed in the project.

Gather and maintain orderly records necessary during inspection and testing based on the predesigned TIP’s and Procedures.
