A Global Downstream initiative to implement targeted, optimized and sustainable improvements in the fuel supply chain processes, technology and organizational capabilities.
From technical perspective, project was to create a warehouse for the Chevron's downstream production data and to generate reports for business users to enable them to make quicker business decisions optimizing returns in terms of operational excellence and financial benefits.
Lynx was focused on providing the capabilities necessary to achieve supply chain optimization. These capabilities include supply chain information visibility; improved supply chain planning and scheduling solutions; and improved system-wide forecasting.
The Lynx Refinery Release (LRR), a core component of Project Lynx designed to standardize and improve the quality and capabilities of fuel blending and scheduling processes.
Performed dual roles, as Refinery Business Analyst and Sr. Project Manager for parent company –

First project included development and maintenance of Complaint Handling System for company’s supply chain management system. This application manages a work flow to track customer complaints and track them until resolved.
Second project included development, testing and support of document mapping between iDocs and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) using WebMethods. Purchase orders and receipts were sent and received through this.
Third project included enhancements and bug fixes for the company’s intranet and internet site registration. This also included Outlook integration and Role page maintenance.
A new site to upload and download files (similar to FTP) but with a better User Interface and integrated Reporting and time sheet was also developed as part of this big project.
Completed customization of Catalog Management tool and globalization for the chemical products.
Developed several mini sites to describe company’s polymer products and collect feedback from end customers.
