Project consisted of improving receiving, purchasing and car delivery process and to eliminate the problems with the inbound supplier labels, it was decided the labels will be printed from an application in TESLA, verify data is correct, accurate and timely.

Team developed a tool as an extension of the existing supplier collaboration portal; current portal handled the interaction with supplier user base, extended the services to label printing, tool enabled the suppliers to select PO’s released, entered shipping quantities/other relevant data, and print container/master labels.

Tested the mobile application using tablets, Smartphone and emulators, the application consist of receiving the goods in warehouse using their IPhone, android devices

The master labels that are affixed on the palettes are also redesigned so that they can be scanned. By scanning the master label and avoiding the scanning of Container labels, the receiving process is speeded up.
