SOCIAL WORK EXPERIENCE
I WAS PLACED FULL TIME IN THE FIELD AT BRIGHT SITE PROJECT IN DURBAN FROM FEBRUARY UNTIL THE END OF August 2015.i was expected to render case, group and community work under organisation called Refugee pastoral care until end of august.
Providing individually assessment and help those who are in need of shelter, food parcel. Including paying school fees for refugees those who are vulnerable.
Providing, HIV counselling and marriage counselling, counselling to those who are affected during xenophobia.
Led support group the main aim of support group is to

.To assist members to deal with stressful life event
.To refresh and improve group members coping abilities so that they can deal with future stressful events.
Community project was done with refugees using humanistic approach and strength based approach to fulfil their needs. Project was facilitated in two days per week the aim was to assist them with skills and taught them self-reliance in their current world and also being in control and take responsibility, for themselves.
